Overview: An opportunity to work for Banner Staffing Services in a lifestyle, flexible position at a Banner Health or associated facility, as a Registry PhlebotomistAs this is a Registry position, the position offers no guaranteed hours or medical benefitsThe position is based in facilities and locations in Central PhoenixWe are specifically looking for staff who can commit to regular assignments at perhaps a week at a time and are happy to be pre scheduled for future work at a facilityThis position will commence starting October 1st Responsibilities: This position may be located within a Hospital facility, Patient Service Center, PIO, or Long Term Care Department. This position is responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens into the department, their proper entry into the company's computer system, the preparation of samples for analytical testing and/or the distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area. This includes responsibility for pre and post aspects of analytical testing. This position will also perform specified analytical testing as assigned. Follows the guidelines of the Code of Conduct. All employees are responsible for (1) supporting the Company's goals and mission, (2) for following all Company policies and procedures, (3) for providing quality customer service, and (4) for following safety standards in performing all aspects of the functions below, reporting/removing unsafe equipment and attending safety education sessions.

Experience: a minimum of a years experience as Phlebotomist in the last 18 months. (Excluding extern or clinical training experience)Completion of a recognized and certified Phlebotonmy course.Outstanding Customer Service SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED is requiredReading, writing, communicating, patience, interpersonal skills, confidentiality, comprehension of instructions, standing, walking, twisting, bending, stooping, lifting up to 25 lbs, repetitive motion required, accuracy in detail work, manual dexterity, multi tasking, exposure to chemical biological hazards, frequent interruptions.Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to assimilate instructions quickly, problem solving ability, comprehension of written and oral instructions in English.Basic computer skills
