Phoenix-based SRP, the nation's third-largest public power and water utility is recruiting for a Property Loss Control Specialist.
Typical Education & Experience: Four year college degree in engineering, business administration, physical science, finance or insurance. Five years of experience as fire protection engineer, fire specialist, loss control consultant, safety engineering or insurance fire/boiler and machinery inspector. Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of federal, state and local fire codes, standards and regulations. Knowledge of fire and alarm system applications, design and installation. The Property Loss Control Specialist acts as a technical liaison with property insurers, SRP engineering/operating groups, and outside regulatory agencies in regard to property loss control issues and property loss investigations/settlements. Inspects facilities to identify property loss exposures and to ensure regulatory compliance with existing/proposed fire/lifesafety codes, standards, and regulations.
