Our Parish Data System product offers solutions and service to Catholic churches and schools. The R&D department is responsible for creating cutting-edge applications that fit into that market and are geared towards supporting the administrative and ministry needs of our customers.
The Position: Software Developer
The Software Developer is responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and documenting desktop and browser-based programs. Our developers work in a fast-paced environment, employing agile development processes that allow for quick-to-market solutions. Our development teams are relatively small and each successful team member is empowered to make a significant impact on the delivered solutions.

Responsibilities
· Take primary role in the analyses, design, and programming of new software products and enhancements to existing products.
· Assist in database design for new products and in implementing database improvements for existing products.
· Assist in establishing procedures for software development, source code control, support and custom programming, and maintaining code and user interface standards.
· Investigates and corrects program errors reported by clients, support representatives, and the testing lab. Takes responsibility to find and correct program errors in daily work. Assists in defining coding practices that facilitate high quality.
· Communicates with support staff and the testing lab regarding programming-related support questions.
· Uses established programming standards when changing or adding program code.
· Maintains expert level technical knowledge of development tools through personal study and corporate sponsored training.

Requirements
· Solid academic background in Computer Science or related field (BS or MS in Computer Science or related field a big plus.)
· Expert level knowledge of Delphi for Windows, Visual Basic, C#, or equivalent programming language.
· Expert level knowledge of relational database design concepts, SQL coding, and MS SQL.
· Good written and oral communication skills.
· Proven ability to learn software development tools, strong problem solving skills, and ability to self-motivate.
