Job: Loan Adjuster Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a loan processor, you will be part of the Loss Mitigation call center making outbound calls to clients, as well as answering inbound calls to obtain a loan application. You will handle the input of applications to the application handling system and assist in completing the loan file by sending letters to clients for required documentation, ordering Bpo, compiling financial and loan data. This role requires the ability to maintain a high level of production with an extreme attention to detail. You will be responsible for tracking each loan from the initial application to the approval/decline status, communicating the status of the loan application to all appropriate parties, while continuously updating the workflow and application handling systems, and providing prompt, courteous service to all internal partners and Wachovia customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2 years in mortgage/banking industry or equivalent experience
Analytical skills with the ability to manage a portfolio of accounts to designated timelines and calculate new terms
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
Proven negotiation skills
Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment and deliver within tight timelines

PREFERRED SKILLS
1 year minimum credit collections
1 year minimum data entry experience
2 years minimum customer service
3 years call center experience
Basic understanding of consume loans and real estate products
Knowledge of Federal, State and Bank regulations
